Manchester United eased past Bayer Leverkusen 4-2 at Old Trafford on Tuesday nights with Wayne Rooney helping himself to a brace.

The hosts opened the scoring in the 22nd minute through Rooney before Rolfes levelled shortly after half time for Leverkusen. Van Persie restored United’s advantage with a superb volley before Rooney made ti 3-1 in the 70th minute.

Valencia put the game beyond doubt with a powerful finish before Toprak grabbed a late consolation for the Germans. Watch all the goals here:
