Chelsea welcome Manchester City to Stamford Bridge this afternoon with both sides looking to close the gap on league leaders Arsenal.

The home side slipped to fifth – five points off the pace – following Saturday wins for Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton and Southampton but the Blues can climb back up to second with a win today. City meanwhile are a further point behind in sixth so need a positive result this afternoon to stay in touch.
