Manchester United take on Real Sociedad tonight looking to go one step closer to securing qualification to the knockout stages of the Champions League.

United head into the game sitting top of Group A after winning two and drawing the other of their three games so far, so can all but ensure safe passage to the next phase with another victory tonight.

Boss David Moyes has recalled defender Rio Ferdinand for the game and he takes his place alongside Nemanja Vidic tonight. Ryan Giggs starts in midfield while Shinji Kagawa also starts.
