Manchester United welcome Arsenal to Old Trafford on Sunday looking to close the gap on the current Premier League leaders.
The Gunners head into the weekend action sitting five points clear at the top and a full eight points ahead of United, so this game could have a huge bearing on how both teams season pan out.
Ahead of he clash, United boss David Moyes has been speaking to the media and gave ManUtd.com a team news and injury update.
Moyes claims he hopes to have ‘a few players back’ for the game so the likes of Rafael and Jonny Evans – who missed the midweek draw with Real Sociedad through injury – could be back in contention. The United boss will make a final decision over his squad on Saturday.
One player who is certain to miss out against the Gunners is Danny Welbeck with Moyes confirming the attacker is still recovering from a knee injury. He told the clubs official website:
“Hopefully, we’ll have a few players back, the only one who is not in contention is Danny Welbeck.
“He’s still suffering with his knee. But hopefully I’ll have the other ones in and around the squad. I’ll be able to make a decision tomorrow once I see how they all are.”
A win for Arsenal would see them open up an 11 point advantage over United but a win for the champions would see them reduce the gap to just 5, so it’s certainly a six-pointer on Sunday.

Hopefully man united would win the match. I don’t think Arsenal can hold dawn man united because they are all champions and they also know how to deal with them. At this point in time, man united will not afford to lose any match expecially against Arsenal. They will play them with space, power and sense. Arsenal may have the highest ball possesion but man united will win and it may be by chance or opportunity.
