German starlet Julian Draxler has admitted it’s his dream to play for one of Arsenal, Chelsea or Manchester United at some point in the future, according to the Express.

The 20-year-old has become one of the hottest properties in Europe since breaking into the Schalke first team two years ago and is on course to secure a place in the highly-competitive German senior squad for the 2014 World Cup.

The Express claims that his impressive form has seen him linked with a move to a number of English clubs and the attacker has now revealed that he thinks that the Premier League is the best league in the world and admitted it’s his dream to play for the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United at one point in the future.

“I like English football. I like the Premier League of course – it’s one of the best leagues in the world,”

“You have big clubs like Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea – of course it’s a big dream to play for one of them. I have my favourite team, but at the moment I’m at Schalke. I don’t want to talk about other clubs.

“If I state Arsenal or Manchester United, maybe I’d read it tomorrow in the newspapers.” Draxler is quoted as saying by the Express.

Current Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Lewis Holtby, believes that his German team-mate is destined to make a big-money move and has tipped him to join him in London one day.

“Draxler is on the list of every big team.

“He is a fantastic young player and I think a lot of money will probably be spent on him. I don’t know whether he wants to come but there are a lot of players there.

“It’s also great to have other German players in London, good to speak a bit of German, and more and more of them will come. Every German player is welcome in England.” Holtby is quoted as saying by the Express.

However, the Draxler only signed a new five-year contract in the summer and Schalke are not going to let their star man leave on the cheap, so the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and United will have to dig deep if they want to lure him to England any time soon.
