[Teams] Chelsea vs Southampton: Confirmed Line-Ups

Chelsea entertain Southampton at Stamford Bridge this afternoon looking to close the gap at the top of the Premier League.

The Blues currently trail leaders Arsenal by seven points following the Gunners win on Saturday so need a victory over the Saints to keep pace with the north Londoners.

Boss Jose Mourinho has recalled Fernando Torres to the starting line-up after Samuel Eto’o was ruled out through injury.  Frank Lampard is given a breather as Michael Essien starts in midfield while Juan Mata also comes in after several weeks out of the starting eleven.

Boruc, Clyne, Fonte, Lovren, Shaw, Wanyama, Schneiderlin, Ward-Prowse, Lallana, Rodriguez, Osvaldo.

Subs: Gazzaniga, Yoshida, Lambert, S. Davis, Cork, Chambers, Hooiveld.
