Arsenal edged into the last 16 of the Champions League despite losing 2-0 to Napoli on a nervy night at the San Paolo Stadium.
Gonzalo Higuain put the hosts ahead with a fine effort in the 73rd minute and after a tense 20 minutes of pressure which saw Mikel Arteta dismissed for a second booking, the Italians made it 2-0 in stoppage time through Callejon.
Fortunately there wasn’t enough time for Napoli to find a decisive third that would have seen the Gunners crash out and Arsene Wenger’s men go through in second place after Borussia Dortmund scored a late winner in Marseille.
