[Teams] Man City vs Arsenal: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on December 14, 2013

Manchester City welcome league leaders Arsenal to the Etihad Stadium this afternoon with both sides looking to boost their title hopes.

The Gunners currently hold a six point lead over the chasing pack with fourth-placed City a further point behind, so it’s all to play for this afternoon.

City boss Manuel Pellegrini has made several changes from the team that beat Bayern Munich 3-2 on Tuesday night with the likes of Sergio Aguero, Samir Nasri, Yaya Toure and Vincent Kompany all returning but Hart drops back to the bench as Pantilimon keeps the gloves.

Arsene Wenger has also made some changes from the side that lost 2-0 to Napoli. Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshere, Aaron Ramsey and Nacho Monreal all come in while Bacary Sagna passed a late fitness test.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Man City

Pantilimon, Zabaleta, Kompany, Demichelis, Clichy, Fernandinho, Toure, Nasri, Aguero, Silva, Negredo

Subs: Hart, Lescott, Kolarov, Garcia, Navas, Milner, Dzeko

Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Flamini, Wilshere, Ozil, Giroud, Walcott, Ramsey

Subs: Fabianski, Vermaelen, Arteta, Rosicky, Cazorla, Gnabry, Bendtner
