Manchester City cut Arsenal’s lead at the top of the Premier League to three points with a thrilling 6-3 victory at the Etihad today.

Sergio Aguero, Alvaro Negredo, David Silva, Fernandinho (2) and Yaya Toure all scored for the hosts while Theo Walcott (2) and Per Mertesacker were on target for the Gunners in an exhilarating game of attacking football.

The win sees City move up to second and just three points off the pace ahead of Chelsea’s clash with Crystal Palace this afternoon.
