[Teams] Tottenham vs Liverpool: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on December 15, 2013

Tottenham welcome Liverpool to White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon with both sides looking to boost their top-four hopes.

Spurs head into the game sitting seventh, three points behind fifth-placed Liverpool, so it’s all to play for as both sides hope to close in on those above them.

Andre Villas-Boas has recalled a number of first team players who were rested for the midweek Europa League win over Azhi. Roberto Soldado retains his place up front after bagging a hat-trick on Thursday.

Brendan Rodgers has been forced into one change with Lucas Leiva coming in for captain Steven Gerrard, who has being ruled out with a hamstring injury. Luis Suarez skippers the side in Gerrard’s absence.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Lloris; Walker, Capoue, Dawson, Naughton; Paulinho, Sandro; Lennon, Dembele, Chadli; Soldado

Subs: Friedel, Fryers, Holtby, Lamela, Townsend, Sigurdsson, Defoe.

Mignolet, Flanagan, Sakho, Skrtel, Johnson, Allen, Lucas, Henderson, Sterling, Coutinho, Suarez.

Subs: Jones, Kelly, Agger, Toure, Moses, Aspas, Alberto.
