Luis Suarez was the heartbeat of the Reds attacking play once again, scoring twice and setting up two others for Jon Flanagan and Raheem Sterling while Jordan Henderson deservedly got himself on the score-sheet after a fine display. Spurs chances weren’t helped by the dismissal of Paulinho with the score at 2-0, with the Brazilian shown his marching orders after catching Suarez with a high boot.
