Liverpool eased past Cardiff City 3-1 at Anfield with a stunning double from Luis Suarez sending the Merseysiders top of the Premier League.

The Uruguayan opened the scoring with a delightful volley before Raheem Sterling made it 2-0 in the 42nd minute after being set-up by Suarez. It was 3-0 minutes later when the in-form striker curled home from the edge of the box before Jordan Mutch pulled one back in the second half.
