FA Cup Fourth Round Draw: Big Guns Kept Apart – See The Draw Here

By on January 5, 2014

The draw for the fourth round of the FA Cup was held on Sunday afternoon (bizarrely while third round ties are still being played) and as usual it’s thrown up some intriguing ties.

Arsenal cruised through to the next round with a 2-0 win over arch rivals Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates on Saturday night and the north Londoners have been rewarded with a home tie against League One outfit Coventry City.

Man City were held to a 1-1 draw by Blackburn Rovers on Saturday lunchtime and the winners of the replay will take on either Bristol City or Watford – who also face a replay – at the Etihad.

Chelsea are currently in action against Derby County and the winner of that clash will play Stoke City at Stamford Bridge.

Liverpool kick off against Oldham Athletic at 3pm and the victors at Anfield will face either Bournemouth or Burton away from home.

Manchester United entertain Capital One Cup holders Swansea City at Old Trafford later on this afternoon and the winners will take on either Birmingham or Bristol Rovers/Crawley.

Ties will be played on the weekend of the 25th & 26th January.

So Derby could end up playing Stoke at Stamford Bridge? Strange!
