[Teams] Manchester United vs Swansea City: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on January 11, 2014

Manchester United entertain Swansea City at Old Trafford this afternoon as the two sides meet for the second time in a week.

The Swans ran out 2-1 winners in last weekend’s FA Cup tie which was the second of three consecutive defeats, so the champions will be desperate to get back on track this evening.

David Moyes is unable to call upon the services of strikers Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie so Danny Welbeck leads the line up front with Shinji Kagawa in support. Chris Smalling plays alongside Nemanja Vidic at the back with Jonny Evans out with a back injury.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Man Utd

De Gea; Rafael, Smalling, Vidic, Evra; Valencia, Carrick, Fletcher, Januzaj; Kagawa, Welbeck

Subs: Lindegaard, Buttner, Cleverley, Giggs, Lingard, Zaha, Hernandez

Tremmel, Rangel, Amat, Williams, Davies, Britton, Canas, Shelvey, Pozuelo, Routledge, Bony

Subs: Cornell, Richards, Chico, Taylor, Lucas, Vazquez, Donnelly.
