Liverpool play host to Aston Villa at Anfield on Saturday evening looking to close the gap at the top of the Premier League.

The Reds head into the game sitting fourth in the table and can cement their place in the Champions League places with all three points today.

Brendan Rodgers has recalled striker Daniel Sturridge to the starting line-up after he came off the bench to score against Stoke last weekend. Lucas Leiva is the man to make way with the Brazilian dropping to the bench.

Kolo Toure continues his partnership with Mart Skrtel at the back with Daniel Agger and Mamadou Sakho still out. Here are the confirmed line-ups:
