Arsenal eased past Fulham 2-0 at the Emirates this afternoon thanks to a second half brace from Santi Cazorla.
After a goalless opening 45 minutes, Cazorla opened the scoring after a fine team goal involving Olivier Giroud and Jack Wilshere ended with the Spaniard curling home from 12 yards. It was 2-0 shortly after as Cazorla collected a loose ball on the edge of the box and drove home a left-footed strike.
The win keeps the Gunners top of the Premier League by a single point from second placed Manchester City – who beat Cardiff 4-2 this afternoon.
