FA Cup 5th Round Draw: Top Four To Face Each Other In Mouthwatering 5th Round Draw

The draw for the fifth round of the FA Cup was made this evening and it’s thrown up two HUGE ties.

Arsenal booked their place in the next stage with a resounding 4-0 win over League One Coventry City at the Emirates on Friday night and they’ve been rewarded with a home clash against Liverpool. The Merseysiders eased to a 2-0 win over Bournemouth on Saturday lunchtime but must now face the Premier League leaders in the next stage.

Manchester City were forced to come from 2-0 down at home to Watford with a Sergio Aguero-inspired second half display seeing them to a 4-2 win , and they will entertain Chelsea at the Etihad in the next round after the blues beat Stoke City 1-0 today at Stamford Bridge thanks to a stunning strike from Oscar.

It means the current top four in the Premier League will face each-other and will guarantee two of the remaining favourites will exit the competition at the fifth round stage.

The ties will be played over the weekend of 15th and 16th February and both games are almost certain to be televised.
