Manchester United welcome Cardiff City to Old Trafford tonight with the champions looking to close the gap on the top four.

Boss David Moyes has handed record signing Juan Mata his debut as the Spaniard starts in attack along with the fit again Robin van Persie, while Wayne Rooney is back on the bench after recovering from a groin injury.

Adnan Januzaj is also among the substitutes as Ashley Young and Ryan Giggs start in midfield along with Phil Jones and Antonio Valencia. Chris Smalling partners Jonny Evans at the back.
