[Teams] Liverpool vs Everton: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on January 28, 2014

Liverpool host Everton at Anfield tonight in a crucial Merseyside derby that could go a long way to determining both sides top-four hopes.

The Reds currently sit fourth in the table but sit just a single point clear of the Toffees, so Brendan Rodgers will be hoping to secure all three points to extend their advantage.

Rodgers has recalled Jon Flanagan at right back with Martin Kelly dropping out while Raheem Sterling also returns to play alongside Daniel Sturridge, Philippe Coutinho and Luis Suarez in attack.

New Everton signing Lacina Traore is at the ground but is not included in the squad, but Antolin Alcaraz is passed fit to start at the back while Ross Barkley and Steven Pienaar also start.

Here are the confirmed line-ups for the game:

Mignolet, Cissokho, Skrtel, Toure, Flanagan, Gerrard, Henderson, Coutinho, Sturridge, Sterling, Suarez

Subs: Jones, Kelly, Ibe, Smith, Moses, Aspas, Alberto

Howard, Baines, Jagielka, Stones, Alcaraz, McCarthy, Barry, Barkley, Pienaar, Mirallas, Lukaku.

Subs: Robles, Hibbert, McGeady, Naismith, Gueye, Osman, Garbutt
