[Video Highlights] West Brom 1-1 Liverpool: Toure Error Gifts Baggies A Point

By on February 2, 2014

Liverpool were held to a 1-1 draw by West Bromwich Albion on Sunday afternoon thanks to a gaff from Kolo Toure.

The visitors took the lead midway through the first half when Daniel Sturridge was on hand to tap home at the far post from a Luis Suarez cross.

However, West Brom were gifted a way back into the game when Kolo Toure inexplicably passed the ball straight to Victor Anichebe who fired past Mignolet from the edge of the area for 1-1. Neither side could find a winner and it ended in a draw.

The result leaves Liverpool in fourth, three points behind third-placed Chelsea and two ahead of Everton.

And thats why you dont start someone as inconsistent as Kolo Toure. Time and time again, he is to blame for schoolboy errors in defence. Where is Agger? and if he isn’t fit, why not start someone who doesnt break under the slightest of pressure.

I blame rodgers for our game today,he who fail to buy players and prefare to use toure instead of trying Kelly i think rodgers does not have champions league ambitions.and surely he won’t make it to uefa by using this type of legs cus no quality in them.
