[Teams] Liverpool vs Arsenal: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on February 8, 2014

Liverpool entertain Arsenal at Anfield this afternoon with both sides desperately seeking three valuable points.

The Gunners head into the weekend action sitting two points clear at the top of the league so will hope to extend that advantage this afternoon, however, Liverpool are also in need of a win to cement their place in the top four.

Brendan Rodgers has named an unchanged side from the team that drew 1-1 away at West Brom last weekend. This means Kolo Toure – who was at fault for the Baggies equaliser – plays against his former club today.

Arsene Wenger has been given a boost with Jack Wilshere returning to the starting eleven today. He comes in for Lukas Podolski with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain moving out to the wing.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Mignolet, Flanagan, Cissokho, Toure, Skrtel, Gerrard, Henderson, Sterling, Coutinho, Suarez, Sturridge.

Subs: Jones, Kelly, Ibe, Moses, Aspas, Allen, Alberto

Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Wilshere, Arteta, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Cazorla, Ozil, Giroud

Subs: Fabianski, Jenkinson, Gibbs, Rosicky, Gnabry, Podolski, Bendtner
