[Video Highlights] Chelsea 3-0 Newcastle: Hazard Hat-Trick Sends Blues Top

Chelsea eased past Newcastle United 3-0 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon with a hat-trick from Eden Hazard sending the west Londoners top of the Premier League.

The hosts opened the scoring in the 27th minute when Hazard swept home a Branislav Ivanovic pass from the edge of the area before he made it 2-0 shortly after with a neat finish following a lovely touch from Samuel Eto’o. The Belgian then sealed the three points, and his hat-trick, from the penalty spot midway through the second half.

The win sees Jose Mourinho’s men move one point clear at the top of the league after Arsenal’s defeat to Liverpool while Manchester City were held to a 0-0 draw at Norwich.
