Sturridge, Mignolet, Sterling + More: Players React On Twitter To Arsenal Thrashing

Liverpool put in a 5-star display to beat Premier League leaders Arsenal 5-1 at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.

The Reds were rampant from the off and raced into a 4-0 lead inside the opening 20 minutes thanks to a double from Martin Skrtel before Raheem Sterling and Daniel Sturridge added further goals to put the hosts firmly in control.

If the three points weren’t already safe at half time, Sterling making 5-0 shortly after the break certainly did with Arsenal pulling one back via a penalty from Mikel Arteta.


The result saw Liverpool cement their place in fourth while they also closed the gap on third-placed Manchester City to four points following the Citizens 0-0 draw at Norwich.

After the game, several Liverpool players took to Twitter to react to the victory with Raheem Sterling, Daniel Sturridge, Jon Flanagan and Simon Mignolet all celebrating the win and sharing some pictures. Have a look here:

    Giroud fail u, ozil fail u and so on.. Y don’t u people all d team failed.. When arsenal beat liverpool at emirate.. Liverpool ȋ̝̊̅§ not gud ryt?… When ar u people goin to start belive dat dier ȋ̝̊̅§ no team dat cn nt b beating… No mata aw gud the team is… Asernal was beating acpted and stop critising on what is not…
