[Video Goals] WBA 1-1 Chelsea: Late Anichebe Strike Dents Blues Title Bid

Chelsea’s title bid was dented at the Hawthorns on Tuesday night after a late Victor Anichebe header earned West Brom a 1-1 draw.

It looked to be heading for 0-0 at half time until Chelsea finally got the breakthrough when Branislav Ivanovic was on hand to fire home at the far post following a corner to give the Blues the lead in first half stoppage time.

However, with Jose Mourinho’s men just minutes from going four points clear at the top of the Premier League table, Anichebe glanced home a header for 1-1 in the 86th minute. Chelsea were unable to find another goal and were forced to settle for a point that sees them two points clear of Arsenal ahead of the Gunners clash with Manchester United tomorrow.
