[Teams] Chelsea vs Everton: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on February 22, 2014

Chelsea entertain Everton at Stamford Bridge this afternoon in Saturday’s early Premier League kick off.

The Blues have the opportunity to open up a four point lead over second-placed Arsenal, who play Sunderland later this afternoon, so they wont want to pass up the chance to put some pressure on their title rivals.

Jose Mourinho has opted to stick with Samuel Eto’o in attack meaning Fernando Torres remains on the bench. John Terry returns at the back alongside Gary Cahill with David Luis ruled out with a muscle injury. Frank Lampard starts in midfield alongside Nemanja Matic.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Cech; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta; Lampard, Matic; Willian, Oscar, Hazard, Eto’o.

Subs: Schwarzer, Cole, Ramires, Schurrle, Salah, Ba, Torres

Howard, Baines, Distin, Jagielka, Coleman, Barry, McCarthy, Pienaar, Osman, Mirallas, Traore

Subs: Robles, Hibbert, McGeady, Deulofeu, Naismith, Barkley, Stones
