Arsenal crashed out of the Champions League 3-1 on aggregate after being held to a 1-1 draw by Bayern Munich in the second leg on Tuesday night.
The Gunners had a mountain to climb following a 2-0 defeat in the first leg and we gave ourselves even less chance of pulling off a miracle when Bastien Schweinsteiger was allowed to drift into the box unopposed to fire home the opener just after half time.
Arsenal got back in the game almost immediately when Lukas Podolski smashed home against his former club from a tight angle for 1-1, but we failed to push on and grab a second goal that would have put Bayern on the ropes.
The Germans then had a golden chance to add some gloss to the aggregate scoreline when Laurent Koscielny bundled Robben down in the box, but Fabianski saved Mullers resulting penalty to make it 1-1 on the night, and 3-1 to Bayern on aggregate.
