Chelsea eased into the last eight of the Champions League after beating Galatasaray 2-0 at Stamford Bridge in the second leg on Tuesday night.

Going into the game having drawn 1-1 in the first leg three weeks ago in Turkey, the Blues took control of the tie in just the fourth minute when Samuel Eto’o fired the hosts in front before defender Gary Cahill was on hard to make it 2-0 on the night, and 3-1 on aggregate, with a close range effort just before half time.

Neither side could add to the scoreline in the second half so Chelsea went through to the quarter finals with a 3-1 aggregate win.
