[Teams] Bayern Munich vs Man Utd: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on April 9, 2014

Manchester United are in Germany to take on Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena this evening in the second leg of their Champions League quarter final clash.

The tie is finely poised at 1-1 following last weeks stalemate at Old Trafford and the Red Devils know they are going to need to produce something special to beat the reigning champions to reach the last four.

David Moyes has decided to risk Wayne Rooney with the striker starting up front despite picking up a toe injury in the first leg last week. Danny Welbeck and Shinji Kagawa support Rooney while Darren Fletcher starts alongside Michael Carrick in midfield.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Bayern Munich

Neuer; Lahm, Dante, Boateng, Alaba, Robben, Götze, Müller, Kroos, Ribéry, Mandzukić.

Subs: Raeder, van Buyten, Rafinha, Pizarro, Weiser, Hojbjerg, Weihrauch

Man Utd

De Gea; Jones, Smalling, Vidic, Evra; Fletcher, Carrick; Valencia, Rooney, Kagawa; Welbeck

Subs: Lindegaard, Büttner, Ferdinand, Giggs, Januzaj, Young, Hernandez
