[Tweets + Pics] Ozil, Ramsey, The Ox + More: Arsenal Players React To Cup Victory

See what several Arsenal players had to say and some photos following the Gunners dramatic penalty shoot-out victory over Wigan in the FA Cup on Saturday.

Arsenal booked their place in the final of the FA Cup with a 4-2 penalty shoot-out victory over Wigan Athletic on Saturday after the game finished 1-1 after extra time.

Per Mertesacker gave away a second half penalty before heading home a late equaliser to force extra-time. Despite plenty of Arsenal pressure, Arsene Wenger’s side couldn’t find a winner so the game went to the dreaded shoot-out.

Lukasz Fabianski was the hero, saving Wigan’s first two spot-kicks to help the Gunners secure a place in next months final where we’ll hopefully end out much talked-about trophy drought.

After the game, several Arsenal players took to Twitter and Instagram to have their say on the victory. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Yaya Sanogo, Mesut Ozil, Aaron Ramsey, Per Mertesacker, Thomas Vermaelen and Lukas Podolski all reacted online and were clearly excited to be heading back to Wembley to face Hull in the final.

Here’s what the boys had to say on social media:

Well, we are in 21th century where the world as wide as your finger can type. Social media, I think the place where football players around the world (not just us) express, courage ,and support among themselves.
As long as they aren’t carried away, like Schezny’s selfie at WHL, then it’s all healthy for me.

One goal down I thought we could never make it to d final. I was so disturbed inside, it’s seems my world was falling down. Well thank God we made it. But we need aggressive striker, that’s our problem.
