[Teams] Chelsea vs Sunderland: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on April 19, 2014

Chelsea entertain Sunderland at Stamford Bridge this evening looking to go back to the top of the Premier League table.

The Blues head into the game sitting two points adrift of Liverpool so a win tonight would see them leapfrog their title-rivals and put the pressure on ahead of the Merseysiders trip to Norwich on Sunday.

Jose Mourinho has opted to recall Samuel Eto’o in place of Demba Ba up front despite the Senegalese international scoring in his last two outings. Oscar comes in to the starting eleven while Mohamed Salah keeps his place, but the big news is Mark Schwarzer starts in goal with Petr Cech out.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Schwarzer; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta; Ramires, Matic; Willian, Oscar, Salah; Eto’o

Subs: Hilario, David Luiz, Mikel, Lampard, Torres, Schurrle, Ba

Mannone, Vergini, Alonso, Brown, O’Shea, Cattermole, Colback, Larsson, Johnson, Borini, Wickham.

Subs: Celustka, Altidore, Ba, Giaccherini, Scocco, Mavrias, Ustari.
