Dembele + Chiriches To Start – Predicted Tottenham Starting XI To Face Stoke

Tottenham take on Stoke at the Britannia on Saturday looking to go one step closer to securing European football next season. Here’s our predicted team.

Moussa-Dembele Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur take on Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday afternoon looking to go one step closer to securing European football next season.

Tim Sherwood may opt to stick with the majority of the eleven that beat Fulham 3-1 last weekend. Kyle Walker is still out with a pelvic injury so Kyle Naughton will continue at right-back but Vlad Chiriches could come back in to partner Younes Kaboul in the centre of defence with Jan Vertonghen and Michael Dawson out.

Mousa Dembele is also in line to return to the starting eleven having successfully made an appearance from the subs bench last weekend. Nacer Chadli is perhaps the most likely to drop out with Christian Eriksen certain to retain his place after another impressive outing against Fulham.

Andros Townsend is pushing for a recall but Sherwood is likely to stick with Aaron Lennon on the right while Harry Kane is expected to once again support Emmanuel Adebayor up front after scoring his third goal in three games last time out.

Here’s the line-up I think we’ll see Sherwood put out this weekend:

The team don’t look bad on paper apart from the two full backs can’t se how fryers don’t get in front of that liabilty rose absolute sh.te can’t defend to save his life yet fryers gets the nod in front of chiriches at cb don’t understand Sherwood’s thinking vlad has one bad Game and gets dropped rose and naughton have been total sh.t and still picks them

Please “Naughton” how can a manager say I don’t mind him making mistakes because he tries very hard to rectify them – Drop him and play someone who doesn’t make mistakes every game.

Kane nice player for the Championship – Put Soldado behind Ade and stop pretending he gives more than 10 minutes

What I can’t accept about Tim is his constant changing of the first 11. As a former player himself, he must know that continuity with the same team is paramount for success.
