[Video Highlights] Stoke 0-1 Tottenham: Rose Bags Winner At The Britannia

By on April 26, 2014

Tottenham Hotspur secured a hard fought 1-0 win over Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday afternoon thanks to a first half header from Danny Rose.

It was largely an even opening before Emmanuel Adebayor produced some excellent work to beat his man before holding a cross up at the far post where Rose was waiting to open the scoring with a fine header.

Ryan Shawcross was then sent off early in the second half after receiving a second yellow card for kick Rose. The dismissal made it difficult for the hosts to get back in the game and Spurs saw out the remainder of the second period to secure all three points.
