[Teams] Arsenal vs Newcastle: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on April 28, 2014

Arsenal have the chance to go four points clear in fourth place when they take on Newcastle at the Emirates this evening.

The Gunners head into the game sitting one point clear of Everton but after the Toffees slumped to a 2-0 defeat to Southampton on Saturday, Arsene Wenger’s men can tighten their grip on that last remaining Champions League spot.

The boss has named an unchanged line-up from the side that beat Hull 3-0 last week but Thomas Vermaelen returns to the substitutes bench after recovering from a hamstring injury.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Arteta, Ramsey, Ozil, Cazorla, Podolski, Giroud

Subs: Fabianski, Jenkinson, Vermaelen, Kallstrom, Flamini, Rosicky, Sanogo

Krul; Debuchy, Williamson, Coloccini, Dummett; Gosling, Anita, Tiote, Gouffran; Sissoko; Remy

Subs: Elliot, Haidara, Yanga-Mbiwa, S Taylor, Obertan, Armstrong, Sh Ameobi
