Mesut Ozil was the inspiration for the Gunners with a goal and an assist while Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud also got on the score-sheet in what was a routine nights work for Arsene Wenger’s men.
The Pole was a virtual by-stander for much of the game but did what was asked of him when required.
Had little to do defensively but was always keen to bomb forward down the right and put in a few dangerous crosses.
Was a clam and composed head at the back when required.
Did well to get in front of Sissokho to poke home the opening goal and showed his excellent recovery pace to get back and prevent Remy getting a shot off in the second half.
A solid display from the Spaniard and looked far more composed than he has in recent games.
Kept things simple in front of the defence. He looks so much more comfortable with Ramsey alongside him.
Another encouraging display from the Welshman. He was all over the pitch, chasing down balls and spraying passes. Great to have him back.
Relatively quiet game game from the German. He did force a fine save from Krul with a close range header though.
Great nights work from the Spaniard and he really enjoyed linked up with the likes of Ozil again. His shooting was a little wayward at times though.
Superb performance from Ozil. He played some stunning passes and pulled off a ridiculous piece of skill to bamboozle Gouffran. Tucked away his goal well and grabbed an assist with a lovely cross for Giroud.
Pretty average all-round from Giroud but he made a great front post run and followed it up with a powerful header for his goal.
Rosicky – 6/10 – Not much time to make an impact but ran around a lot.
Flamini – 6/10 – On for the last 15 minutes to give Ozil a rest.
Sanogo – N/A
