[Tweets & Photos] Ozil, Arteta, Ox + More: Players Thank Fans After Final Home Win

Arsenal won their final home game of the season after beating West Brom 1-0 at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon.

With fourth place already secured before kick off, the game was a low key affair and Olivier Giroud won it with a header early in the first half.

The Premier League may not have ended how we all wanted after leading the way for much of the season, but we still have an FA Cup final to look forward to and more Champions League football in store next season.


After the final whistle today the players invited their families onto the pitch for their lap of honour to show appreciation to the fans for supporting them throughout the season.

Several players took to social media websites this evening to say a further thank you to all the Arsenal fans, with Mesut Ozil, Lukas Podolski, Per Mertesacker, Jack Wilshere, Mikel Arteta and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all having their say and sharing photos from the day.
