James Wilson capped a dream debut for Manchester United after scoring a brace during a 3-1 win over Hull City at Old Trafford on Tuesday night.

The 18-year-old was handed a surprise start by Ryan Giggs and he didn’t disappoint his interim boss as he was on hand to fire home an impressive volley following Marouane Fellaini’s knockdown in the 31st minute.

Wilson then tapped home his second of the game just after the hour mark after Fellaini’s shot was saved before Matty Fryatt pulled one back with a stunning 25-yeard strike.

Robin van Persie then came off the bench to seal the three points with a sweet volley at the second time of asking with Giggs picking up the assist. Watch the goals here:
