[Video Goals] Cardiff 1-2 Chelsea: Torres Hits Winner To Seal Comeback

By on May 11, 2014

Chelsea came from a goal behind to beat relegated Cardiff City 2-1 at the Cardiff City Stadium this afternoon.

The hosts took the lead early on when Craig Bellamy’s shot took a wicked deflection off Cesar Azpiliceuta and past Mark Schwarzer.

Andre Schurrle levelled things up in the 72nd minute when he fired home from close range before Fernando Torres made it 2-1 just minutes later, with the Spaniard cooly slotting home from 6 yards out.

The win ensures Chelsea finish third in the Premier League table but overall it’s been a disappointing season for Jose Mourinho’s men, who will look to do much better next year.
