Tottenham Hotspur finished off the season in style, beating Aston Villa 3-0 at White Hart Lane this afternoon.

Spurs took an early lead when Paulinho was on hand to fire home from close range at the second time of asking after Brad Guzan had saved his initial effort.

It was 2-0 midway through the first half when Nathan Baker put through his own net before Emmanuel Adebayor sealed the three points with a penalty just minutes later.

The victory ensured Tottenham finished sixth in the table and they’ll be in the Europa League again next season.
