Judging by the photo he’s posted on Instagram, Chelsea ace Cesc Fabregas is getting some well-earned rest in ahead of his new adventure at Stamford Bridge.

Judging by the photo he’s posted on Instagram today, Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas is getting some well-earned rest in ahead of his new adventure at Stamford Bridge.

The Spanish international sealed a surprise move to West London from boyhood club Barcelona last month for a fee believed to be in the region of £30m, after struggling to establish himself at the Nou Camp following a move from Arsenal in 2011.

After a disappointing campaign with the Spain squad in Brazil at the World Cup, Fabregas is taking some down time with his girlfriend Daniella Semaan before coming back to England to link-up with his new team-mates, and the 27-year-old has shared an intimate photo of the pair cosying-up on a sun-lounger with a caption reading “Summer touch… #bythepool”.

Blues fans will no doubt be hoping Fabregas gets all the rest he can get before he starts training later this month, as the club look to try and wrestle the Premier League title away from holders Manchester City.
