Premier League action returns this weekend after the international break as Chelsea take on Swansea City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.

Something’s got to give tomorrow as the game sees the leagues top two teams face off against each-other with both sides so far boasting 100% records.

The Blues have been in devastating form so far this season and followed up victories over newly-promoted Burnley and Leicester with a thrilling 6-3 win over Everton at Goodison Park last time out.

However, Swansea arrive in the capital full of confidence too having already beaten Manchester United at Old Trafford on the opening weekend, and they followed that up with wins over West Brom and Burnley to ensure it’s three wins from three.

Gary Monks excellent start saw him voted as the Barclays Manager of the Month on Friday afternoon and the Swans will hope to continue their superb earl-season form against Chelsea this weekend.

Team news

Jose Mourinho is sweating on the fitness of Diego Costa after he picked up a hamstring injury while away with Spain last week. The striker underwent a fitness test on Friday afternoon so we’ll have to wait and see tomorrow whether he was passed fit to play.

If he misses out, Loic Remy is in-line to make his debut following his move from Queens Park Rangers just before deadline day. Eden Hazard is fit to start despite pulling out of the Belgium squad with an Achilles injury.

Swansea will assess the fitness of Wilfried Bony after his long-haul trip to Cameroon in midweek, but the Ivory Coast hitman is expected to start up front.

However, the Welsh outfit will have to make-do without midfielder Leon Britton after he was ruled out for another month with a knee injury.

Predicted Line-Ups

Key Man

Diego Costa: The Spaniard has already shown how important he is to this Chelsea team so he’ll be a huge loss if he’s ruled out. The Spaniard has four goals in just three games and he’ll be looking to add to his tally if he overcomes his hamstring strain.

Predicted Score

Chelsea 2-0 Swansea: With or without Costa, Chelsea should have way too much for Swansea to handle. Mourinho will be looking for a clean sheet after shipping three goals last time out but the likes of Fabregas and Hazard should ensure there will be goals at the other end.
