[Teams] Leicester vs Man Utd: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on September 21, 2014

Manchester United will look to build some momentum when they take on Leicester City at the King Power Stadium this afternoon.

Louis van Gaal registered his first competitive win as United boss last week with a resounding 4-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers so he’ll be keen to pick up another three points this afternoon.

United have handed a full debut to Radamel Falcao as the Colombian comes in for Juan Mata in attack, with Wayne Rooney expected to start in the No.10 role. Otherwise, van Gaal has stuck with the same side that beat QPR meaning Luke Shaw has to wait to make his full debut.

Here are the confirmed line-ups

Schmeichel, De Laet, Morgan, Moore, Konchesky, Hammond, Cambiasso, Nugent, Drinkwater, Vardy, Ulloa.

Subs: Hamer, James, King, Schlupp, Mahrez, Wasilewski, Wood

Man Utd

De Gea, Rafael, Evans, Blackett, Rojo, Blind, Herrera, Di Maria, Falcao, Rooney, van Persie

Subs: Lindegaard, Shaw, Smalling, Fletcher, Mata, Valencia, Januzaj
