[Teams] Sporting Lisbon vs Chelsea: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on September 30, 2014

Chelsea are in Portugal to take on Sporting Lisbon tonight with both sides looking to secure their first victory of the Champions League group stages.

The Blues were disappointed to be held to a 1-1 draw by Schalke at Stamford Bridge two weeks ago in their opening group game, so the West Londoners will be keen to get their first three points on the table this evening.

Jose Mourinho has decided to start Diego Costa up front despite the Spanish international’s on-going trouble with a hamstring problem. Thibaut Courtois keeps his place in goal meaning Petr Cech continues on the bench, while Oscar and Willian start in attack.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Rui Patricio; Silva, Sarr, Mauricio, Cedric; William Carvalho; Adrien, Mario; Nani, Carrillo, Slimani

Subs: Boeck, Jefferson, Martins, Monetro, Capel, Rosell, Oliveria.

Courtois; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Luis; Matic, Fabregas; Schurrle, Oscar, Hazard; Costa.

Subs: Cech, Azpilicueta, Zouma, Mikel, Salah, Willian, Remy.

Whats your predicted score now we’ve seen the teams?
