[Video Goals] Arsenal 4-1 Galatasaray: Welbeck Bags Hat-Trick For 10-Man Gunners
Arsenal produced their best performance of the season as they eased to a 4-1 win over Galatasaray thanks largely to a superb hat-trick from Danny Welbeck.
The former Man Utd striker cooly slotted home the first after being found by Alexis Sanchez before then racing clear to make it 2-0 just eight minutes later.
Mesut Ozil then set-up Alexis for 3-0 just before the break and Welbeck sealed his treble just after the restart with a superb first-time finish from an Oxlade-Chamberlain assist.
Wojciech Szczesny was then sent off on the hour mark for bringing down Yilmaz in the area, with the striker scoring the resulting penalty past sub goalkeeper David Ospina for 4-1.
The win sees Arsenal move up to second in Group D behind leaders Borussia Dortmund – who beat Anderlecht 3-0 in tonight’s other game.
