[Teams] Liverpool vs West Brom: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on October 4, 2014

Liverpool will look to bounce back from a midweek disappointment in Europe when they entertain West Brom at Anfield this afternoon.

The Reds poor early season form continued as they slumped to a 1-0 defeat at Basel on Wednesday so Brendan Rodgers will be desperate to head into the international break on a positive note.

The Northern Irishman has to once again make-do without Daniel Sturridge but he’s decided to drop Mario Balotelli and hand Rickie Lambert a rare start up front.

Glen Johnson is back in the squad but Javier Manquillo keeps his place at right-back, while Adam Lallana and Philippe Coutinho join Raheem Sterling in attack.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Mignolet, Moreno, Lovren, Skrtel, Manquillo, Gerrard, Henderson, Lallana, Sterling, Coutinho, Lambert.

Subs: Jones, Toure, Johnson, Lucas, Markovic, Borini, Balotelli.

West Brom

Foster, Gamboa, Lescott, Dawson, Pocognoli, Dorrans, Morrison, Gardner, Brunt, Sessegnon, Berahino.

Subs: Myhill, McAuley, Mulumbu, Blanco, Yacob, Baird, Samaras
