Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho has posted a photo of him along with Daniel Sturridge and Jon Flanagan in the treatment room as the trio step up their injury recoveries.
Sakho missed Liverpool’s 2-1 win over West Bromwich Albion at Anfield on Saturday after picking up a thigh strain in training last week, and the 24-year-old will also miss the upcoming international games after being ruled out for around three weeks.
Sturridge has been on the sidelines since suffering a thigh injury while away with the England squad at the beginning of September and was thought to be close to returning to action last weekend but failed a late fitness test.
Flanagan is still some way off a first team return after the youngster was ruled out for a couple of months having undergone surgery on a troublesome knee injury last month.
However, the trio appear to be working hard to get back to fitness as soon as possible as Sakho has posted a picture [above] on Twitter of himself along with Sturridge and Flanagan receiving treatment at Liverpool’s training ground.
