[Video Goals] QPR 2-3 Liverpool: Reds Snatch Win After Late Drama

By on October 19, 2014

Liverpool snatched all three points thanks to a last ditch own goal from Steven Caulker secured a 3-2 win over Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road on Sunday afternoon.

After a goalless first half, the Reds opened the scoring midway through the second period when a quick free-kick from Glen Johnson was put through his own net by skipper Richard Dunne.

QPR levelled things up in the 87th minute when substitute Eduardo Vargas fired home from close range for 1-1 before Liverpool went straight up the other end and re-took the lead thanks to a deflected Philippe Coutinho strike.

The hosts came back again to make it 2-2 in the 92nd minute when Vargas was on hand to head home a corner. However, the late drama wasn’t over as Liverpool still had time to find a last ditch winner when Caulker put through his own net from a Raheem Sterling cross following a swift break by the visitors to make it four goals scored in 8 hectic minutes.
