Here is what Steven Gerrard, Raheem Sterling, Jose Enrique and Simon Mignolet had to say on Twitter after Liverpool’s dramatic 3-2 win over QPR on Sunday

Liverpool came away from the capital with all three points after a dramatic 3-2 win over Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road on Sunday afternoon.

After a goalless first half, the Reds opened the scoring midway through the second period when a quickly taken free-kick from Glen Johnson was put through his own net by QPR skipper Richard Dunne.

The hosts levelled things up in the 87th minute when substitute Eduardo Vargas fired home from close range for 1-1 before Liverpool went straight up the other end and re-took the lead thanks to a deflected Philippe Coutinho strike.

QPR came back again to make it 2-2 in the 92nd minute when Vargas was on hand to head home a corner. However, the late drama wasn’t over as Liverpool still had time to find a last ditch winner when Steven Caulker put through his own net from a Raheem Sterling cross following a swift break by the visitors to make it four goals scored in 8 hectic minutes.

After the game, Steven Gerrard posted a picture on his official Instagram account of him celebrating with Courinho with an accompanying message saying “Big 3 points today. Performance wasn’t great but kept fighting till the end . Well done @phil.coutinho . Great finish“.

Raheem Sterling, Jose Enrique and Simon Mignolet also took to social networking site Twitter to react to the win. Here is what the players said:
