[Video Goals] West Brom 2-2 Man Utd: Fellaini Rocket Not Enough As Utd Held

By on October 20, 2014

Daley Blind scored a late equaliser as Manchester United were held to a 2-2  by West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns on Monday night.

The hosts started brightly and took the lead when Stephane Sessegnon smashed home a thunderous shot into the top corner in the eighth minute and they held that advantage until half time.

Marouane Fellaini was introduced at the break and made an immediate impact as he brought down Di Maria’s cross on his chest before firing home an unstoppable shot from just inside the area for 1-1.

West Brom re-took the lead in the 67th minute when the in-form Saido Berahino raced clear to slot home past David De Gea but Blind was on hand to curl home the equaliser with just minutes remaining to rescue a point for United.
