Arsenal will look to go one step closer to securing qualification to the knockout stages of the Champions League when they take on Anderlecht on Wednesday night. Here is Gooner Mac’s predicted line-up:

Goalkeeper: We have a crisis in goal as Wojciech Szczesny is suspended following his sending off against Galatasaray and No.2 David Ospina is injured. It means third-choice keeper Emiliano Martinez will start in goal with 17-year-old Ryan Huddart on the bench. Hardly the ideal situation for such an important game.

Defence: Laurent Koscielny is expected to miss out once again with a niggling Achilles problem but Calum Chambers returns from suspension and should start alongside Per Mertesacker in the middle of defence. That would allow Hector Bellerin to keep his place at right-back with Nacho Monreal dropping to the bench.

Midfield: Aaron Ramsey made a successful return from injury on Saturday and could start tomorrow night. Mikel Arteta is also expected to start after three weeks out with a calf injury while Jack Wilshere has been passed fit despite being forced off with a knee knock at the weekend. Wilshere may usually have been rested against Anderlecht but as he’s suspended for Saturday’s trip to Sunderland, I think we’ll see him start.

Attack: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was poor against Hull so I wouldn’t be surprised to see him drop out with Santi Cazorla moved to the left wing and Alexis Sanchez deployed from the right. Danny Welbeck should continue to lead the line while Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud remain on the sidelines.

So this is how I think we’ll line-up tomorrow:

What do you think of the team? What line-up would you select?
