[Video Goals] Tottenham 5-1 Tripolis: Lamela Scores Stunning Rabona In Spurs Rout
Tottenham Hotspur thrashed Asteras Tripolis 5-1 at White Hart Lane with Erik Lamela and Harry Kane stealing the show.
Spurs opened the scoring in the 13th minute when Kane fired home a right-footed shot from distance before Lamela scored one of the best goals of the season as he pulled off an audacious ‘rabona’ from the edge of the area to make it 2-0.
The Argentine international’s second wasn’t bad either as he thrashed home a volley before Kane was on hand to tap home from close range when Mousa Dembele’s shot was saved for 4-0. The young forward then quickly completed his hat-trick with a late header for 5-0.
The night ended in bizarre fashion when hat-trick hero Kane was forced to go in goal after Hugo Lloris was sent off and it’s safe to say it will be his last stint between the sticks as he spilled Barrales weak free-kick into the net to gift the visitors a late consolation.
